High Strangeness

Here’s the latest re-inked pages of High Strangeness, in all their high-res glory. For page 14, I’ve included the original page to the left, so you can see a few of the subtle adjustments I’ve made. Some of the art is intentionally left un-inked, because I will be pasting the lettering caption boxes over those areas later. Most of the changes I’ve made on this project are limited to redraws of some faces and adjustments to panel shapes and placements. For instance, on page 14, I also removed the plane from panel 5 because it didn’t feel necessary since the same view of the plane is shown on the last panel directly below. Added to that, it’s pretty clear already that panel 5 is from the pilots point of view. I opted to make the last panel open, without panel border. I think this evokes a greater sense of expansive, quiet isolation.

Page 15 is pretty much exactly the same except I refined the pilots face a bit and reworked the flying saucer shapes a little.
