DIGITAL RESTORATION: I’m up to page 7 digitally restoring High Strangeness, here’s a process shot. I’m calling this a ‘restoration project’ rather than a straight up re-inking/re-lettering effort, because for the most part I’m following my original brush strokes as closely as possible. You may or may not notice some slight improvements along the way. For instance, our hero on panel 6 has a little rework on his eyes and the plane light lens flare is a bit more precise and cleaner than in the original. As with all of the pages, I’m adjusting the panel borders a little so they are straighter, with the gutters more evenly spaced.
SIX STRINGS & SUPER HEROES: May 4th, I was a guest at new comic shop Six Strings & Super Heroes in New Port Richey, FL. It was an all-day Free Comic Book Day event and I spent the day meeting old and new fans as well as hanging out with the other featured guests, Sergio Carello and Scott Spillman. I’ve included a couple of commissioned sketches here. I’m still working on the ‘Futurians’ illustration, as you can see.
SAGA OF A DOOMED UNIVERSE II: I’m keeping the title of this sequel under wraps for a while, but I’m starting on issue two this week and plan to share some WIPs soon. Very likely, I’ll be working on this during my upcoming live-stream, so I hope you’ll stop in to get an exclusive preview!
PATREON PAGE UPDATES: I adjusted the rewards tiers a bit and front-loaded Tier-1 because I felt like it should share much of what Tier-2 included. With that in mind, I added more to Tier-2 and 3. More rewards are in the pipeline and I’ll announce when they’ve been added.
